Databricks' own partner directory lists every partner, but it doesn't tell you who does the build, so ask each firm on your shortlist who would.

Advisory on its own is available and it is rarely the thing that unblocks a programme, because a written recommendation nobody has the capacity to build is usually where the last one stopped.

Where you do want the plan first, the two-week Health Check and the two-week Migration Readiness Sprint are exactly that, priced and scoped before you commit to the build.

Ask what happens after the pipeline. Most partners stop at the lakehouse and the dashboard, and the question that decides whether a platform gets used is who builds the application, the API and the agent on top of it. Ask for the engineers you would actually get, and ask what they shipped rather than what the company holds.

Eighty, inside a team of 115+. That is the number worth asking every partner for, because it is checkable and a partner tier is not: tiers weigh revenue and deal registration alongside capability, so two firms at the same level can have very different benches.

Ask for the certification count and ask how many of those people would be on your engagement.

In September 2026 Prove It, a Genie-powered app built by Ivan Vydrin, now an award-winning Databricks engineer at TechFabric, was named a winner in the Creativity & Originality track of the Databricks Community Genie-Powered App Challenge, placing second worldwide in a contest judged and announced by Databricks.

We arrive with four accelerators of our own that are open source, so you can read them before you hire us. And we run our own products on Databricks, which means the engineers advising you operate the same stack in production rather than only advising on it.

Yes, and those three plus SQL Server are the paths we have built playbooks for. The migration runs through TechFabric Airlift, which covers twenty-seven source platforms with executable playbooks, signed migration certificates, and a cutover that can be reversed. The starting point is usually a two-week Migration Readiness Sprint so the scope is written down before anybody commits.

They are the same engagement more often than not. An AI system that has to be governed needs the catalogue permissions, the lineage and the audit trail that the data platform provides, so the agent work and the Databricks work are one problem.

We also do AI work off Databricks, on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, where that is where the estate already lives.

We take that piece and work in your workspace, so nothing has to be handed back.
