For journalists, partners, event organisers, and anyone putting our name next to theirs. Everything on this page is free to use for the purposes in the rules below. You don't need to ask first.
Zip, 1.8 MB. Every file is also linked below on its own, and brand.json carries the same information for a script.
Logo
Two files for every ground.
The wordmark is the word techfabric in lowercase with the dot mark to its left. It is drawn in two colours, a neutral that matches the ground and the logo red. On black the neutral is white, on white it is black, and nothing else changes. The mark on its own is for a profile picture or a favicon, where the wordmark would be too small to read.
Clear space and size
Leave space around the logo of at least the height of the letter t in the wordmark, on every side. Nothing else goes inside that space, including a partner's logo and the edge of the page.
Don't go below 120 pixels wide on a screen or 30 millimetres in print. Below that the dots in the mark merge, and the mark on its own is the better choice.
Please don't
- Recolour it, or use the on-dark files on a light ground.
- Stretch, rotate, outline it, or add a shadow or a glow.
- Put it on a busy photograph. The weave below has a dark side for exactly this.
- Type the name in a font to stand in for it. The wordmark is drawn, and the raised f is not a glyph you can reach.
Colour
Black, white, greys, and one red.
Two reds, in fact, and each has one job. The wordmark and the mark are drawn in #EB0600 and always have been. The interface accent is #B30000, because the brighter red fails contrast as text on white. Don't recolour the logo to the darker one, and don't set text in the lighter one.
- Logo red#EB0600The wordmark and the mark. Nothing else.
- Brand red#B30000The accent on light grounds. Arrows, underlines, focus rings.
- Red on dark#FF8577Red text or icons on a dark ground, where #B30000 fails contrast.
- Black#000000The page ground.
- Charcoal#282828Secondary surfaces on dark.
- Card grey#3A3A3ACards on a dark ground.
- Muted grey#A6A6A6Captions and metadata on dark.
- White#FFFFFFHeadings and body copy on dark.
- Light panel#F7F7F7The light section, the system's one inversion.
Type
Three typefaces, all free.
Poppins in bold for headings, Inter for everything you read, and JetBrains Mono for the small uppercase labels. Poppins and Inter are on Google Fonts. JetBrains Mono is from JetBrains, under the same open licence.

Backgrounds and banners
The weave, and the shapes it is already cut to.
One image does most of the work on this site. Red threads on black, dense on the right and quiet on the left, so a headline sits on the dark side. Below it are the same image cut to the sizes the social platforms want, with the wordmark already placed.

The red weave from the homepage. Put a headline on the dark left third, as the site does.

1200 x 630. The shape a link unfurls to on LinkedIn, Slack and X.

1584 x 396. The wordmark sits clear of where LinkedIn draws the profile picture.

1024 x 1024. The mark on black, for a square avatar.
Photographs of our people aren't in the kit. If you need one for a speaker card or a profile, write to hello@techfabric.com and say where it will appear.
Describing us
The sentence we use everywhere.
Quote it as it is. It is the same paragraph on LinkedIn, on the partner directories and in our own metadata, and it is written to be identical rather than polished for each place.

If you are writing about the Databricks work, the approved wording is on this site already and it reads: TechFabric is a Databricks partner with an award-winning Databricks engineering team, 80 of them Databricks-certified, and Databricks is where we have chosen to go deep.
Rules
Eight rules, and permission to proceed.
You may use these files to refer to TechFabric in an article, a talk, a partner listing, an event programme or a comparison, and to link to this site. Keep to the rules and you don't need a sign-off. Anything that puts our logo on a product, a course or a service that isn't ours needs a conversation first.
- 01Use the wordmark wherever it fits. The mark alone is for spaces too small or too square for the wordmark, such as a profile picture.
- 02Use the on-dark files on black and dark grounds, the on-light files on white and light grounds. Do not recolour either.
- 03Keep clear space around the logo of at least the height of the letter t in the wordmark, on every side.
- 04Do not go below 120 pixels wide on screen or 30 millimetres in print for the wordmark.
- 05Do not stretch, rotate, outline, add a drop shadow to, or place the logo on a busy photograph.
- 06Do not set the name in a typeface to imitate the wordmark. The wordmark is drawn, not typed.
- 07Do not use the assets to imply that TechFabric endorses or is affiliated with a product or an event unless we have said so.
- 08Say 'a Databricks partner' and 'a Temporal partner'. Do not attach a tier to either.
For scripts and agents
Every file has a stable URL.
Nothing here needs a login or a form. The paths below don't change between versions of the kit, so a build that fetches the wordmark today fetches the current wordmark next year. Start with brand.json, which says which file to use on which ground, and llms.txt at the site root points here.
- https://www.techfabric.com/brand/kit/brand.jsonEvery file with its format, pixel size, the ground it is drawn for and when to use it, plus the colours, the fonts, the description, the rules and the permission statement.
- https://www.techfabric.com/brand.mdThis page as Markdown, without the chrome, with the file list and the guide to choosing one at the end.
- https://www.techfabric.com/brand/kit/techfabric-brand-kit.zipEverything above in one archive, with a README.

A photograph, a quote, a speaker biography, a logo in a format that isn't here. Write to hello@techfabric.com and we'll send it.
