A team, not a bench of resumes

Hire Databricks engineers who arrive as a team that has shipped together

TechFabric places Databricks-certified engineers inside your team, working in your workspace and your repository. Eighty of our engineers hold Databricks certifications, averaging fifteen years of production experience. They come as a working team with a lead who owns the outcome, rather than as individual contractors you have to manage.

The usual version of this is a bench of resumes, a rate card and a manager who has never seen the codebase. What actually goes wrong is never the individual skill. It is that four people hired separately have no shared way of working and you become the integration layer.

How this works

  • Databricks-certified engineers, from a bench of eighty, matched to the actual workload
  • They work in your workspace, your repository and your process, under your roadmap
  • A lead who owns delivery, so you are not the integration layer between contractors
  • Product and design available in the same team where the work needs them
  • Scale down as your own team takes over, which is the point rather than a concession
  • Everything they build is yours, including the decisions written down

FAQ

Hire Databricks engineers: common questions

Can we hire Databricks developers from TechFabric?

Yes. Eighty of our engineers hold Databricks certifications and they work embedded in your team, in your workspace. What we do not do is hand over individual contractors and step away: they arrive as a team with a lead who owns the outcome, because that is the difference between capacity and a management problem.

How is this different from staff augmentation?

Most staff augmentation sells you people by the hour and leaves the coordination to you. We sell a team that has shipped together, with somebody accountable for what it delivers. If what you want is genuinely one contractor at a rate, we are probably the more expensive answer and we will say so.

How quickly can engineers start?

It depends on the shape of the work and what is on the bench that week, and anyone promising a date before hearing the requirement is telling you about their utilisation rather than your project. The honest first step is a short conversation about what the work actually is.

What does a Databricks certification actually prove?

The floor, and not much more. It says an engineer knows the platform's surfaces. What decides whether the thing still works in month six is production experience, which averages fifteen years across our team. We lead with the count because buyers ask for it, not because it is the most useful number.

Can they work in our own Databricks workspace?

That is the normal arrangement. Working in your workspace under your governance means nothing has to be handed back later, and it keeps Unity Catalog permissions doing their job instead of being worked around for the duration of an engagement.
