# Dynamics 365 consulting that ends in a live system

> TechFabric is a Microsoft Solutions Partner that consults on and implements Dynamics 365. We take Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM from a blank tenant to a live system, then build the AI workflows, document processing and Power BI reporting that surround them. Funko's warehouse system runs on Business Central, and AmTab's modernisation ran on Dynamics 365 and Power Automate.

## What we implement

- **Business Central**: From a blank tenant to a live system: chart of accounts, items and warehouse setup, the extensions your process actually needs, data migrated off whatever is there now, and a cutover date somebody can defend.
- **Dynamics 365 CRM**: Customer Engagement configured around how your team sells and services rather than around the demo. Quotes, orders and cases that agree with what Business Central holds.
- **AI workflows and documents**: Purchase orders, invoices and packing slips read and posted without somebody retyping them, with the exceptions routed to a person instead of buried.
- **Reporting in Power BI**: Numbers finance and operations both trust, built on the ERP record rather than on an export somebody maintains by hand.

Sectors: Manufacturing, Supply chain, Finance, Warehouse

## What we build

- Business Central implemented from the ground up, not configured around a template
- CRM and Business Central holding one version of the customer and the order
- Documents read, posted and reconciled without manual re-entry
- Power BI on the ERP record, so one number survives being questioned
- Integrations to the systems the ERP has to agree with

## Questions

### Is TechFabric a Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner?

Yes. TechFabric is a Microsoft Solutions Partner, with designations in Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation and Infrastructure. We implement Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM, build on Azure, and take Power BI reporting and Power Automate workflows into production around them. The designations are visible in Partner Center, which is where to check any partner's claim.

### Do you implement Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Yes, end to end. Chart of accounts, items, inventory and warehouse setup, the extensions your process needs, migration off the current system, and the cutover. Funko's warehouse system was built on it from the ground up, and we run the reporting and integration work around it too.

### Do you also do Dynamics 365 CRM?

Yes. Customer Engagement, configured to how your team actually sells and services, and joined to Business Central so a quote, an order and an invoice describe the same thing. Most of the value in doing both is that they stop disagreeing.

### What about Finance & Operations?

Business Central and CRM are what we implement. If your estate needs Finance & Operations we will say so rather than stretch to it, and we are still useful on the reporting, the integrations and the AI work around it.

### Which industries have you done this in?

Manufacturing, supply chain, finance and warehouse operations, which is where Business Central earns its keep. The warehouse system we built for Funko runs on Business Central and doubled throughput efficiency, and AmTab's modernisation ran on Dynamics 365 and Power Automate. Both are at /case-studies.

### Can you handle the document processing and the reporting too?

That is usually the half that decides whether an ERP project felt worth it. Purchase orders and invoices read and posted without re-entry, exceptions routed to a person, and Power BI built on the ERP record rather than on a spreadsheet somebody keeps alive.

### Can you take over an existing Dynamics estate?

Yes, starting with an assessment. Two to three weeks, ending in a recommendation you can act on, whether that is us continuing, a specialist alongside us, or a smaller first piece to prove the working relationship.

### What does Dynamics 365 consulting cost, and how does it start?

It starts with an assessment of two to three weeks, which reads the estate you have and ends in a written recommendation you can act on with us or without us. Implementation is then scoped against that document rather than a brief, so the number you're quoted describes work that's been looked at. We don't publish rates, because a Business Central rollout for one warehouse and one for six countries aren't the same job.

### Do you provide Dynamics 365 support after go-live?

Yes, for systems we built and for ones we didn't. Release wave testing, extension fixes, the Power Automate flow that stopped, and the report that changed meaning after an update. For an estate somebody else built, the first step is the same assessment, so we know what we're supporting before we agree to support it.

### Do you work with Insight Works?

Yes, TechFabric is an Insight Works partner. We implement Warehouse Insight, Shop Floor Insight, License Plating and Dynamic Ship on Business Central and support the transactions that run through them, on site in the Phoenix metro. Cyclic Materials engaged us for that at their Mesa facility in 2026. The page at /expertise/business-central-insight-works covers the apps and the NAV move.

### Business Central or Finance & Operations, which one do we need?

Business Central is what we implement, and it's typically the fit for manufacturers, distributors and service businesses with a handful of legal entities. Finance & Operations suits the larger multi-entity, multi-country estates. If that's you, we'll say so early, and we're still useful on the reporting, the integrations and the AI work around whichever one you run.
