# ERP consulting, and the one ERP we implement

> TechFabric is a Microsoft Solutions Partner that consults on ERP and implements one of them. Dynamics 365 Business Central is where we have gone deep. Funko's warehouse system runs on it, and Cyclic Materials engaged us for the Insight Works stack at their Mesa, Arizona facility in 2026. We do not implement SAP or Oracle, and we say so on the first call rather than after a discovery phase. What we do with those is move the data off them, so the reporting outlives the system it came from.

## What we implement

- **Business Central, blank tenant to live**: Chart of accounts, items and warehouse setup, the extensions your process actually needs, data migrated off whatever is there now, and a cutover date somebody can defend in front of the business.
- **The warehouse and the shop floor**: Warehouse Insight, Shop Floor Insight, License Plating and Dynamic Ship, configured with the people who scan rather than around them. We are an Insight Works partner, and Gilbert borders Mesa, so an engineer can be on the floor the same day.
- **Data off the system you are leaving**: Airlift has executable playbooks for twenty-seven sources, Oracle, SAP, Teradata and SQL Server among them. The analytics stop depending on an ERP nobody wants to keep paying for.
- **Reporting that survives being questioned**: Power BI built on the ERP record instead of on an export somebody maintains by hand, so finance and operations argue about the business and not about whose number is right.

### Do you implement SAP or Oracle?

No. Business Central is the ERP we implement, and you find that out here rather than three calls in. Where SAP or Oracle is what you are running, the work we do is move the data off it. Airlift carries executable playbooks for twenty-seven sources with those two among them, so the reporting and the analytics survive a system we never touch.

### Business Central or Finance & Operations?

Business Central is what we implement, and it usually fits manufacturers, distributors and service businesses running a handful of legal entities. Finance & Operations suits the larger multi-entity, multi-country estates. If that is you we will say so early, and we are still useful on the reporting, the integrations and the AI work around whichever one you run.

### Can you supply engineers rather than run the project?

Both shapes exist. One engineer on your roadmap, under your lead, or a team with a lead of ours who owns the outcome. What we do not do is send a CV and step back. The people who arrive are people we work with, and somebody here stays accountable for whether the thing lands.

### What does ERP consulting cost, and how does it start?

It starts with an assessment of two to three weeks that reads the estate you have and ends in a written recommendation you can act on with us or without us. Implementation is scoped against that document rather than against a brief. We do not publish rates, because a rollout for one warehouse and a rollout for six countries are not the same job.
